How do the Americans get so little horsepower out of such a big engine? I realise 400-odd isn't exactly tiny but I'd expect a lot more out of an engine bigger than six litres.

Well Baldric that's a bit like Sainsbury's taking their "Taste the Difference" cheese and adding some dog dirt to it for the "Basics" range. If it is possible to get 638 out of the lump why don't they all come like that?
