Dear good AB'ers - Ford Focus 2006 1.6 Petrol in recent wet weather takes a few goes to start ( Battery def. oK ) any ideas, coil ? damp electrics ? - likeky suspect(s) not so knowledgeable on the Petrols thanks good AB'ers GL .

Damp electrics likely, try making sure all yous leads are dry especially to the plugs, excessive dampness can short out the coil as well, sounds electrical but it could also be fuel related, blocked filter or failing fuel pump

Has the car been serviced well? If so, spray WD40 Over the leads etc.
