Any tips on changing front discs and pads on a Zafira 1.6 petrol?? TIA!

Hoping i don`t come across any unforeseen complications as often happens!

pretty simple really, but you will need (from memory ) a 7mm torx bit to undo the sliders , which are covered by a rubber bung.All the sites say 7mm allen key but im certain its a torx fitting.

Chas, All the Vauxhalls I have done are a 7mm allen key.
"Safety is the priority" the job is straightforward Shaw "IF YOU ARE FAMILIER WITH THIS TYPE OF JOB" (Sorry about the tone) when jacking up the car, place the removed wheel under the side you are doing for extra safety, the only problem that can arise is the Torx screw, these can at time be rounded by a previous fit, make sure to spray with WD 40 & that the Torx you use is a good fit otherwise It will be a small Chisel & a crack with a copper hammer. take note what & how you remove, if in doubt " take a photo" on completion, check & re-check that ALL THE REMOVAL BOLTS ARE TIGHT. & insert some copper grease.

Thanks all, sound advice, especially the video, really helpful. Ive now to do the rear ones, would i be correct in presuming that its the same procedure?
