What Has Happened To This Page???

Smoke

Tons of grey/white smoke coming from exhaust .

Not good obviously - but what is the likely cause / problem - any ideas ?

I'd agree with rojash. Blue/black smoke would be the engine burning oil, but white/grey smoke is water plus oil = head gasket. More money I'm afraid Baz.

has the coolant level dropped - yes =probably head gasket

Did you overfill the oil when you topped up ? That can cause a temporary problem.

Grey or white smoke can be due to excessive fuel. Not usually "tons" of it though.

If the engine has a carburettor the choke could be stuck on.
