Does anybody know how to eliminate smoke odour from an Audi Sports saloon with part leather/suede seats.

I bought this car recently and have tried everything from expensive valetting to Febreze but still the nicotine smell persists.

Any tips/advice would be gratefully aprreciated...

Thanks

Bicarbonate of Soda aka Baking Powder is amazing at soaking up really awful odours - when you are not using the car, stand a bowl in the car containing Bicarb (quite a lot) and leave it overnight or whenever you can. You might need to change it occasionally, but I bet you will find that it absorbs the smell over time. You might need to do it a few times if the odour is very bad, but if you persevere I think you will find it will work!!! Let me know how it goes.
Why did you buy it if it smells strongly (stinks) of nicotine..that will stay for a long long time.
shake n vac....leave for an hour or so before hoovering and use zoflora bouquet for the seats, diluted in warm water, wipe down...should help significantly, i hate tobacco smell, its awful
I agree with scragee, but throw it liberally everywhere.
Leave as long as possible and vacuum up or brush off.
the smell will go in time, it wont be there forever as long as ou keep it smoke free
Stop smoking?

The smell might not be from the fabric, but from the ventilation system.

It might be worth letting off a ventilation cleaning spray.

They are quite expensive - I just bought one for about £7.50ish from a Unipart parts centre. They kill bacterial and fungal infections that breed in the damp caused by air conditioning systems.

You run the engine, with the air conditioning running and the ventilation on recirculate. The spray is set to fully discharge itself and you put it in the middle and shut the doors and windows.
I presume an Audi has a pollen filter in the ventilation system, and if so I would certainly replace that in case it is adding to the whiff.
get a water hose and wash inside your car, i do it all the time
Errrrr Hopkirk - I don't think Jamsieboy is the culprit - if you read the question properly, he bought a car 'recently' and it already smelt of tobacco smoke! I am a smoker but never smoke in my car, I can imagine it would be a problem.
There is a product called Enhance, try that.
