Can i take my cbt a few months befor im 16?

My birthday is in december and i dont relly want to take my cbt in the bad weather , can i take it like a month or 2 befor im 16 ?

To ride a moped on the road, learners MUST

• be 16 or over
• have a provisional moped licence
• complete CBT training

The provisional moped licence does not become valid until you reach 16 and the CBT trainer will check for a valid licence before commencing the course.

Further to kempie's answer the CBT requires you to actually go on the road, therefore you won't be able to do it.

Surely anyone who intends to ride/drive on the public road should have a basic knowledge of the highway code??
