Lapsed MOT

I've just noticed my MOT runs out tomorrow (30/5/2007),

I am away on business for the next few days, so can only sort it out from this friday (1/6/2007).

With the new computerised MOT tests, what do I need to do?

It will lapse tomorrow, do I need to inform anyone?
Can I legally drive the car to the test centre on Friday?

I'm normally great at remembering my services/MOT/Tax, but I totally forgot about this one.

Are there any other issues I need to be aware of?

Thanks in advance

Nothing to worry about, as long as your MOT is pre-booked you can legally drive to and from the test centre.

The garage can get all details from your car to allow them to do the test.

No need to inform anyone. Just keep off the road until it passes.
