i have an escort gti 1998 model and had an idle problem the needle was up and down so changed the idle speed valve but still have the same problem,when it drives its fine but when its ticking over its like its hesitating then its ok for a few secs then so and so anyone now wat the problem is thanx
prev I have a Peugot 206 radio which needs a code.

possibly an air leak on the inlet system

there is a silver valve on the inlet manifold with two bolt fixing has plug with two wires on it. remove and clean with carb cleaner should stop it?
