What is the best way to clean the rubber surrounding the car windows now that winter's over? I want to be able to do it without bleaching the blackness of the rubber. Are there any products on the market or other tips?

Something like this will do it. Autoglym is good stuff. http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-RX1319?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=PLA&gclid=CjwKEAjwru6oBRDDp4jRj4bL_xASJADJ2obyeMtUy6aMw7F1Ydx57BRYAIplgiyBi8M2QeJKa5FzzxoCBQbw_wcB

I have never ever thought of doing this task. My old car used to have window boxes of a fashion where moss grew out of the rubber seal. I never wanted to remove it in case the window fell out.
Autoglym is good stuff - I always just washed as normal and removed any obvious mould then finished with a light coating of any cheap baby oil on a rag.
Wonder if a bit of swarfega on a rag would do it, Mamya ;-)
No that was for after work Tony, having sorted the full forecourt out.

Well I think most of us have one of those, Mamya ;-)

Thanks guys for all your posts. The car isn't directly under any foliage for long periods, yet it proves difficult to clean the rubber - car is 10 years old, perhaps it's just wear and tear. I'll try the Autoglym (thanks Tonyav) and let y'all know how I get on.
