l200 recalls

i have a mitsubishi warrior L200 pick up on a 54 plate for 6 years,very heavy on diesel, 20-22mpg. an old friend today told me his employer had few of these in his fleet on the same plate and they were recalled because the turbo was coming in too early . do any of you ABers know about this??? many thank in advance..

It should come in at 16 / 1700 revs, has the van been serviced? change the fuel / air / oil filters, check your tyre pressures, when the van is going in the forward motion the air is going over the roof & into the body causing drag, have you seen the HGVs with wind deflectors on? this reduces drag & increases fuel economy.
