PT Cruiser Lights

Does anyone know how to easily disable the lights coming on when unlocking a PT Cruiser with the key fob and also the long time the lights stay on for after a run ?
I know its supposed to be a helpful feature but.....We only do short runs in ours and its having a draining effect on the battery.

If you find the unlocking UP/Down/Flash module that is connected to the alarm, there will be a light output (or two .. one for LH and RH side) You could switch that .. or disconnect it.
