I don't subscribe to any sat company but use my box for FTA. I am now getting a message that " no satellite signal is being received". I've gone through all the remedies from Sky but with no success. Is it possibly a problem with the dish and can I check myself or will I need to contact a repair person to check

Forgive me if you've tried this but i usually find it works - simply pull out the mains lead and leave it unplugged for 2 minutes. Plug it back in and WAIT another 2 minutes before switching it on.
