I'm struggling to think of something appropriate for a teenager who will be doing me a favour over several days.

She is athletic so a box of Celebrations isn't appropriate and I don't think flowers are either. An Amazon voucher feels impersonal so....any other ideas?

I would go with an Amazon gift card, she can buy anything she wants with it. depends how much you want to spend as well.
is she into reading, as it could be a good hardback book, or tickets to cinema, theatre...
Gone are the days when you could buy a record token!
How about a sports shop voucher or a voucher to the local sports hall.
I always used to shy away from giving vouchers because I felt it implied you couldn't be bothered to think. Nowadays I feel that it gives the recipient the ability to buy what THEY want, not what you think they want. We give presents to children that we don't really know (the children of distant living god-children) so we always do Amazon vouchers now.
You could have a words with hers parents to see if they can't suggest anything
Whats wrong with a good old fashioned bank note?
ALL teenagers appreciate a monetary gift.
My athletic daughter loved the pink dumbells I bought her one Christmas.
I agree with the banknote idea. I never turned up my nose at one.
I'd be wary of vouchers. These days they print dates on them and make their own rules do they can legally steal the money by not honouring the voucher if they aren't used by that date. That being the type of world we are creating for ourselves these days. Bank notes tend not to have a use by date, at least not often, but does have a promise to pay.
Cash........ All young people appreciate money. No gift vouchers.
Find out what mobile phone network she's on, usually payg with teenagers and buy her some credit, they love their mobile phones to catch up on their apps, athletic or not, she'll be following some app, maybe a food/exercise page so credit is great, all my teen relatives love when I give it to them, I always make sure i have the right service provider first though
Buy her some phone credit. I'm sure most teenagers would appreciate that..
I just suggested that Patsy ;) great minds think alike
I wouldn't buy phone credit - her phone might be on a contract - and I wouldn't give cash either. Accepting that might embarrass her. I'd go with vouchers.
And if her phone is an iphone I'd consider itune vouchers.
Didn't see your answer Ducksie! If she is on contract, how about some jazzy little earphones? Other than that, maybe go with some sort of vouchers..
I know that patsy :) I've never meta teenager on contract yet, they don't tend to tie themselves to contracts, plans to travel and all that in the future
..Amazon gift voucher for me
