According to today's Emmerdale, Belle was born 17 yrs ago tomorrow. Has the same actress played her since then?

Thanks silliemillie. Don't remember that.

For the first few years I think she was played by twins (as young children often are) but don't remember their names.

Has the actress pIaying Vanessa changed? Or has she just changed her hairstyIe?

Emily and James Mather played Belle Dingle until 2005

Lankeela, it's still the same girl but she has a new fringe, looks much better I think.
