I watched this programme for the first time this week and I thought it was just government propaganda aimed at a tiny minority. The REAL sinners are all the people who avoid paying taxes. They amount to many more people. One figure I saw in the paper this week said that unpaid taxes amount to £34bn. What about MPs and politicians who con the public with spurious expense claims? Do you think the BBC will make a programme about these people?

This 'bash the poor' thing is getting tiresome. But I do like to see the proper fiddlers on there.
I think one difference though is that most tax avoidance is not illegal.
There have been plenty of revelations about expenses of MPs and the tax avoidance plans of Gary Barlow and Jimmy Carr have been featured.
