I happened on this programme last night. Are these people for real? One sounded totally ***, one very plump "gentleman" made derogatory remarks about Embarrassing Bodies because someone had problems with his penI*. Bet it's a long time since he even saw his. One prog. for me to avoid in the future.

Hi maggiebee, I'm still on the fence with this one (only caught a few minutes of a single episode) but my oH point blank refuses to watch it as he says' What next? A programme about people watching People, watching people watching people?'
I can't say I saw the fascination with it either.

Never watched it. The trailers and the explanation of what it was about was enough to conclude it was scraping the bottom of the barrel for what to broadcast next. But I suspect some of it is real. Dodgy embarrassing remarks are what I'd expect from some. They will forget they're being watched.

I've not watched either...the idea of my watching somebody else watching television seems daft, at best!

For goodness sake how can anyone make a judgement on a programme without seeing it, or watching a 'couple of minutes'. Its actually very funny but more importantly an excellent study in human nature and social perception. You may not agree with, or like what is being said, but although it will have to be edited its not rehearsed and I find it quite refreshing.

One could argue much the same about the beheading videos on the Net Retrochic. Sometimes you just know from minimal information something isn't for you. But each to their own I guess.

Isn't bidding on animals fighting against the law? Why would there be a TV programme on that? A news item perhaps? So you turn off any news item you don't 'like'?

There was a programme on TV some months ago about dog fighting (I assume this is the one referred to). I didn't watch it, but hoped that the channel who produced it reported the offenders they filmed to the police !!

Its the TV equivalent of Aldi -many will enjoy it but not admit to it. Its a great programme I love it!
