Was that Finetime in the cell with Peter tonight? He looked familiar and was in the soap years ago as I remember.

It most certainly was.

Thanks for that, I thought I'd spotted him straight away but still can't remember his previous role.
Hilda's lodger, Henry Wakefield. 1985!
Question Author
He's been around a bit hasn't he?
He was great as Stephen J Blackburn in The Blackburn Files. He played an ex-pitman turned private investigator in a BBC comic drama on Radio 4x.
I'd forgotten him, just Wiki'd him to discover he was born a couple of miles away from where I live!
Here he was in 1985 on Corrie

^ in the first scene with Hilda
^ There's a longer seen between 6:00 and 8:00.
seen? scene!
This voice recognition software is rubbish.
I can't help feeling a little disappointment at finding out that Finetime Fontayne is not his real name. According Wikipedia it's his stage name- his real name is
Ian Crossley.

Now I daren't check whether Dizzee Rascal and Snoop Dogg were born with those names
Am I correct in thinking he won mastermind once
Don't think so.
I remember him in a Radio comedy called 'Street and Lane' about two builders - it was co-written by Ian Macmillan - the Barnsley poet.

It was funny in a bit of a quirky way!
