i can't understand what Stephen was doing - i saw a trailer where he was clinging for dear life to the side of a mountain, he doesn't strike me as being remotely outdoorsy

Again never ever seen Bear on his programmes. Was curious to see how Stephen fared. He was brave.

To be fair to Bear, he must be pretty good as a Survival Expert, doesn't look as if he's ever missed a meal in his life!

Bear Grylls seems to think he's some kind of guru, IMHO. I remember a radio programme where the host was gushing about how wonderful Grylls was, and he was lapping it up. I can't stand him now.
