It was great to see Connie Fisher in last Saturday's 'Casualty' episode.

I last saw her in London on stage as Maria.

Oh, I thought I had watched Saturday's Casualty but I must have either missed it or didn't recognise her. Was she playing a consultant again? I always thought she was such a beautiful looking lady!

Just realised that it is a different person I'm thinking about. Wasn't there an actress who was playing a consultant called Connie Fisher as well. I think she might have been in Holby City though?

She played Amanda who had brought a sick friend into the hospital. Apparently she had previously been helped by Dylan & Sam in a cave (I missed that episode) & rather fancied him. She asked Dylan out & he went. Connie's hair was in her usual style but coloured red.

Connie Fisher was in the Sound of Music but developed a serious throat condition which has ruined her singing career. Perhaps she is now trying an Actress career instead.

Connie Fisher has popped up again today as the celebrity guest on 'Countdown'.

I saw her perform while on a family holiday before she won the Maria part. Family liked her so much they bought CD's so we were really pleased the 'made it'. Did not know about throat problems, what a real shame. Very good luck to her if she is acting now (don't watch casualty anymore).
