What do you all think of Sue Johnston in corrie. I find her irritating [or might she grow on me if i give her a chance]. The jokes are amusing but she don't quite carry it off. She's not really a comic actress. Now Stephanie Cole who plays Roy's mum I like [but she's had a lot of time off because of illness.
Blanch is going to take a lot of living up to. I'm not sure if anyone ever will.

I don't know why they want to bring in actors actresses to re-enact previous characters, there will always be only one Blanch, one Vera and Jack etc. Sue
Johnston is a great actress but when I see her I think Jim Royle is going to walk in for a pint.
