Tipping Point

The new quiz show on ITV at teatime, low-level quiz questions combined with a rubbish arcade coin-dropping machine. It seemed dreary after only 5 minutes and hasn't picked up since. A show to be avoided.

Or am I in a minority of one?

I quite agree - I shall not be watching again. Nothing can match Bradley Walsh and The Chase !!
I only caught the last part of it. It could do with being speeded up. Maybe it will get better over time. A lot of programmes take time to get bedded-in.

And there's not even Pointless as an alternative this week.
Bring back The Chase.
Agree totally.

I doubt that this programme will improve over time, HK. Watching discs dropping from one level to another doesn't get any more interesting than this, which is to say not in the least bit interesting.
You may well be right. Unfortunately I think we can look forward to more programmes like these as they are very cheap to make.

very true
Tipping Point was dire, compared to The Chase. Unfortunately a lot of people have their tv on at that time of day so it will get viewing figures. I think I'll opt for the radio at that time of day in future.
I missed the beginning so didn't quite get what the rules are, but got bored within minutes. At the end, she took the money instead of playing an extra three discs, I think that after she had made her choice, they could have let her play the discs to see if she had made the right decision or not. I won't be watching it again. Prefer The Chase, especially when Bradley Walsh gets a funny question and creases up with laughter and can't speak.
I turned off after 5 minutes too. Rubbish.
The calibre of the contestants seems pretty poor - one woman was so shocking last night I was embarrassed to watch her. She was asked "in what month do the clocks go back?" and she replied "August" .....!! Oh dear .....
Most boring quiz show, slow, I give it a try and was almost asleep before it finished bring back The Chase and pointless.
