new digital channels.?????

frequently when i switch my tv on first thing in the morning i get a message "new dvb channel found press select to continue." my question is......does anyone actually know what they are.!!?? because i can never find any different ones. cheers.

They are probably minor radio channels or porn/chat channels.

I have a Panansonic and found a way deep in the settings to stop getting alerts about new channels.

thanks hopkirk, i dont mind being told there is a new channel i,d just like to know what it is....i also have a panasonic but dont want to stop getting new channel info through.

You can still do the 'Add Channels' thingy from time to time, but there is never anything exciting to find.

I just got fed up because that 'Found new channel' message appeared so often.

I have a Panasonic VR and it happens to me every time I switch it on and if I let it run I mostly end up with the same number of channels. This has been happening since switchover. B nuisance. I refuse now most of the time.
