The Bridge

So what did we think of the last couple of episodes? I personally enjoyed them, some of my suspicions were right. Not saying too much in case people have watched the footie and v-boxed this!

This show is one of the best I've seen, didn't quite expect the ending and feel a bit crushed. It was good to see a more human side to Saga, I really felt for her when Hans gave her his news, also, what was with the wig, we never got to the bottom of that.

Most of my suspicions were right too but it didn't prevent me being on the edge of my seat. Awesome....enjoy is too strong a word....drained would be more apt.
I thought it was brilliant but the what happened to his son, surely in that short time he had him and did what he did, when they visited the house the first time and went into you know where ( will not say too much in case you have not seen ending), surely they would have smelt the paint.

Anyway, will miss it on a Saturday night, please can we have more.
I felt a bit let down, can't describe it really. Saga certainly seemed to have learned some social skills.

Absolutely brilliant. Definately edge of the seat for me and Mr Q! There's a new series starting next Saturday - Swedish I think, naturally will give it a go. How I wish Salvo was bock on Sarurdays - certainly miss the sunny climate!
What's this that's starting next Saturday quizzy?
Strange that she "just" gets social skills. We were discussing this and someone says she is classic Ausbergers(?). I don't know if thats correct but one conversation wouldn't change her out look. As soon as his history was raised it was obvious but that was only in episode 6/7.
I thoroughly enjoyed the series and the anticipation from week to week was almost unbearable.

But.........now that it has ended I have been reflecting on the series as a whole and somehow it doesn't seem to knit together.

The earlier excesses of 'The Truth-teller' didn't seem to tie up with, what (and who) seemed to be the primary focus of his anger and revenge. It seemed to be an unnecessarily convoluted way of going about things!

(I'm trying to be circumspect in my comments for those who may not have watched the final episodes).
A new two parter, rocky, called Sebastian Bergman starring a burly chap called Rolf Lassgard who played Wallander in a very short series on TV. Looks interesting. Have to give it a go as TV on Saturdays is absolute tosh unless you like talent shows or celebs doing something or other - which I don't.
went away for the week, set the recording machine - it didnt work so missed the final episodes !! and cant find anywhere to download it! So disappointed as it was a cracking seriel.
