Can anyone explain why two fathers have not challanged their children's paternity with DNA instead of just accepting it. Indeed I was waiting for Nicole to ask for a DNA test. And for such an astute businessman to accept that Jai was his daughter's father. I know soapland is a different world to ours but these seem fundamental things to do.

Kelly told Jimmy (and showed him the written proof) that they had already established paternity via a DNA test............which he had forgotten, apparently.

I think Declan knew the truth of the matter when he considered what Ella had told him and he could see for himself.

but i did read somewhere that it wasnt a genuine paternity test, and i expect that it will come out in the future, probably the child will get seriously ill and we all know the rest

I doubt if it was genuine, either. But as Elliott is now being established as a character in the series, no doubt that particular storyline will feature fairly soon....

Thanks everyone, I thought Kelly said she had DNA results but never showed Jimmy them. I can't get the hand of Declan, but as you see Soaps!!!

Different soap....similar vein, how can Peter Barlow not look at Simon his son and question the (obvious) fact that the kid is clearly of mixed race, yet he isnt and the childs deceased mother was white and blonde??
