Big Brother and Davina McCall

Hi folks

Does anyone else 'not get' the attraction and the absence of any apparent talent in Davina McCall and her 'nourished' hair ....?

Personally, it is beyond me how she is on our television screens again and again .... in fact, the only time I appreciated seeing her on television was when she became a zombie on 'Dead Set' !

Is it just me ?

Hope I haven't offended her fan !

tee hee, I dont really watch big brother but I do think she is really cool

i love davina and aparently so does my husband! for different reasons i suspect. think shes v funny but would prob get on nerves after a while, small doses!

I find her one of the most irritating people on the television and why does she have to be so loud? I am amazed at her popularity, she makes me cringe.

I have waxed lyrical on the AB previosly about DM - around the time of her chat show, which illustrated very clearly that she is a one-trick pony - and why she never appears in anything else apart from BB that has lasted more than one series.

People regard her as 'talented' because she fronts BB. You could put Tinky-Winky up to introduce it, and the audience figures would remain the same because (shock horror!) it's the shoe people tune in for - not her. Most of the audience are waiting for her shouty gurning prescence to vanish, so they can get on with the business of BB itself.

As long as it runs, DM will front it, but even BB will run out of steam and vanish, and so will she. Mark my words.

I think she's good on TV. Don't see anything wrong. But everybody is entitled to their opinion.
DM does not come accross as "affected" as if they are promoting themselves, like a lot of TV presenters do and that is what I find refreshing about her.
