Mikey- sleep mask.

Now I will admit to not watching much of BB this year, I haven't taken to any of the housemates, but I've just flicked it on now and Mikey's asleep in the garden with a sleeping mask on- he's the blind one- right?

See now this is what I was thinking other night, what do blind people see if it just pitch black or is it that they still get some kind of light but not enough to make out shapes. Mmmm

there is the opinion that Mikey isn't blind at all - not 100% anyway. He often says things such as "I saw that...", "I could see that..."
It would be funny if it turned out that Mikey did have a good degree of sight all throughout the programme...

I think someone else wrote something like this earlier, a lot of blind people can see hand movements, shapes etc, you can be registered blind and still see a certain amount although this can vary, there are totals but not sure whether Mikey is a total or not.

There are many varying degrees of blindness
A person can be registered blind and yet be perfectly able to see a pretty fair amount and even be able to read print as long as it's enlarged or they hold it closer to their eyes than you and I would - see Darnell as an example

For example, although not his eyes, my husband is classed as 19% disabled

Also, Mikey used to be able to see, so he would naturally say things like "I can see".
