someone I knows grandad is on there, she keeps saying how he went through the first lot of judges to then stand before Cowell etc, but maybe he doesnt realise even the sh1t ones get through

oooh i love the auditions part of the show, there are some crazy mixed up people out there, but great to watch!!
downside...X-Factor = christmas is just around the corner!

Leona is very talented and probably won`t be matched but i do like Leon too.

I love the audtions - the two lads singing Mysterious Girl by Peter Andre has already had me in stitches.
reality shows are literally non stop these days, just glad i actually like them - feel sorry for those that dont!!!

I absolutely adore X Factor, for the auditions bit! I try never to miss one! I'm really looking forward to tomorrow! lol
And before another one goes on about the brain-dead factor, I actually have a Masters' degree and a postgrad, and STILL I love it, so enough with the snobbery. It IS great TV entertainment. And we know it! lol :O)

Generally I'm not a fan of reality TV but do enjoy the audition stage. How deluded are these people? I know I could empty a room anywhere with my singing voice but at least i know I am abysmal

I love the first auditions and enjoy watching for the comedy value alone. I'm not interested once the bootcamp stage is reached.
Never liked anyone who won since Will Young (that wasn't X factor though was it?)

Thanks for that 4get. I never missed an episode and rooted for Will from the very first time I saw him perform. He was a deserving winner in my opinion and has proved his longelivety and versatility. A proper entertainer with real talent. But that's just my opinion. That must have been some years ago now!! It was a refreshing new idea for a show back them. It's all got very tired now.
