I've got a freesat "freetime" unit and I keep getting e-mails saying I should download the app so I can record anywhere anytime and view the EPG etc on my phone and other devices. So after registering an id to pair up various devices it then informs me that it is only to download this app to apple products, when my os is android. Surely they could inform you that this pairing is a waste of time unless you have the apple os. So in case anyone is thinking of doing this you'll have to wait until the Humax boffins get around to also including the Android os. Just thought some might like to know

i cant see any app for this when checking this device on line unless ive missed something
Whilst I have no experience of the app you refer to, I can say I do find it rather annoying how some institutions of little brain think everyone is in the same flock and must own Apple products as no one has the savvy to get anything else. Maybe your course of action could be to sell up your Humax stuff and buy from someone who is 'on the ball' ?
really cant find the app youve got.just whats on here

Hi ivor,
its not an app you download from something like google its like the BT sports app you have to register with the company to obtain it. Go into settings in the Humax box you will then be offered 6 options the last is Freesat ID click on that to pair your devices and follow instructions
