Question Author
Anybody really believe Lillian last night ?
Not me, and not Adam, I reckon!
Question Author
BB....there was a time when my Archers threads were quite popular, but apart from you, and one or two others, nobody seems overly keen !

Should I continue ?
I have previously cast doubt on the permanency and the longevity of the relationship between Lillian and Justin, and I have not altered my view, especially when one considers what Adam saw at Great Gables. I am prepared to bet a crisp English 50pence piece on Lillian and Justin not making it to the registrar's office.
Question Author
BB....I am tending to agree with you....I hope not though.
Who will have custody of poor Ruby ?

Anyway, at here age, Lillian shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, and an Arabian one at that.
Mikey, as regards your question about continuing with the Archers thread, you must make the final, fateful decision. I am not an out-and-out fan of the Archers; my wife is the avid listener in our house, therefore I must perforce listen, but what interests me more than the programme itself is your comments and pungent analysis! I shall be saddened if your Archers thread disappears, but life will go on.
Question Author
Then I shall keep on keeping on BB !
As Walter Gabriel might have said, 'Ahaar, me old pal, me old beauty'!
Question Author
BB....I still miss his son....Nelson was a real asset to Ambridge.
I've not been on this thread much lately as we've been on grandparenting duty so I've lost track a bit. This lets me see if I need to listen on catch-up, we've even been busy on Sundays. I said from the start that the Justin thing is a non-starter, how old is Oliver????

Zebo, nobody seems to know how old Oliver is. If anyone really does know, they're not revealing it.
Question Author
My best guess is early 70's !
There you are, Zebo! If anyone knows, it's mikey!
Is Johnny really intending to leave Pat and Tony in the lurch? He seems to be a bit selfish, or have I misunderstood the situation?
Question Author
I am guessing that the Big Boys Toys over at the Estate is what the main attraction is. Also, I think Jonny is a hands-on type of lad, and wants to work the land, rather than weigh carrots out into bags.
mikey, it's not surprising that there's little interest in The Archers, after last night's juvenile incident that concerned Roy and Lexi. The scriptwriters and/or producers seem to be trying to turn the series into a clone of Eastenders. Is it time to put The Archers soap quietly to sleep?
I agree with you bookbinder. I used to love it but feel it is getting really puerile. I've been feeling for some time that I will just not bother with it any more. Shame, but it's not for me any more.
I think after the hyperbole of thing and thingy, the domestic abuse case. Anything and everything is going to be an anticlimax.

It was a relief to find this thread after nothing for months, please keep going, mikey. Hopefully the new editor will be a little less 'Stender-ish. Johnny is a stocksman, I think, not a fruit and veg. chap, but he is being a bit selfish I think. I daresay that there'll be a crisis of some sort to bring him back.

Lillian needs to count her blessings and keep her nose clean i.m.o.. She's 70 (I'm not far off that myself) and Justin loves her and is solvent - at the moment, who knows what Miranda will take from him. I like Justin, don't want him hurt.
mikey, it almost appears, from jourdain2's comment, that your thread may turn out to be more interesting than the programme itself!
