Hi -thought I'd be first for once! Where is Rob? This silence is suspicious. Helen needs to know his whereabouts for divorce papers etc.. Unlikely he'll top himself, but he may make a half-hearted attempt in order to make her feel guilty.

Rob certainly seems to have made a quick, and thorough, getaway. Suspicious minds (of which I am not one, of course) might surmise that he appears to have completely disappeared, simply to make other characters believe that he is far, far away, where he can do no more harm.

I don't think it's believable in terms of how his character has been developed that he would just pack up and go away, if that's the case then the writers are being disingenuous. He'll be away somewhere licking his wounds, maybe down with Mummy and Daddy, plotting his next move. (If it was different at 7pm I apologise, I'm a 2pm listener!)

Recent episodes have shown that Rob could be losing his mind. His mood swings, while always somewhat undependable, have become worse.

If I were the scriptwriter here, I would have Rob go off in a blaze of action.

We could be looking at a siege, with Henwee being held hostage, of it could be a quick end, with the aid of his shotgun.

We, the listeners know that he has not really gone to America, so where is he ?....at his awful parents I suspect. Anyway, not very far away.

Watch this space !

Justin's explanation of Rob's departure was, I suspect, to protect Damara's reputation, but it'll all unravel eventually.
I think he'll try to abduct Gideon/Jack at the next contact visit.

Bless her!!!!!!!!! It is strange that she hasn't had any contact with Rob, though, isn't it. I wonder if he has been quietly 'disposed' of?

What do we think the Great Brighton Mystery is all about ?....My guess is that Toby has another love life down south, and who knows....perhaps that produced issue !

But why is Rex continually covering up for him ?

Rex is just being a loyal brother, who feels that, if Toby has anything to reveal, he should do the revealing himself. Whatever, Pip is surely in for an upsetting time!

I agree, Hopkirk. Pip is quite efficient and in control when it comes to farming jobs and decisions, but where Toby is concerned, she's gone all starry-eyed and credulous. Anyone with a bit of common would be on the internet before now, checking up on the guy.
