his voice annoys me, but i remember liking TFIF

Cannot stand this man !

I like him, and I think hge has matured a lot since his Radio One days when he was, by his own admission, something of a twit.
Didn't hear the Madonna thing, but no-one can get it right all the time, he may have gone a bit OTT without realising it - don't we all? (Oo-er!) |
In London Breakfast has a dearth of decent DJ's. Dave Berry now on Capital is the best but I really can't get into the music, so I must look for an alternative.
I listen to, not all the time, Evans but every time hes on he mentions himself within 10/15 minutes. I think all radio presenter are egotistical, maybe its requirement, but he is the king of ego. He does a Newspaper presentation in the morning which I like to listen to, he has now stopped it on Friday so he can talk about his favourite subject. :-( |

I agree completely with Andy - word for word

I shall of course give him another chance but woebetide him if he mentions stockings again!
One thing that annoys me about CE is the way he has his son (Noah) doing voice overs every day. Do you think his son is on the payroll or is he just keeping it in the family.

The best thing I ever heard said about Chris Evans was by Paul O' Grady. Having seen him playing football naked with Gazza, he said, "It looked like a nest of baby mice" I still smile when I think of it.

If you're looking for an alternative, I like Christian O'Connell on Absolute radio's breakfast show. I like Chris Evans too but OC is easier to listen to in the morning imo. :)
I'm not keen on him either. bit too full of himself and pleased with himself for my liking. my bf on the other hand thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread and hangs on his every word. he's read his 2 autobiographies twice and insisted on reading bits to me all the while. can't see the appeal myself and the stocking thing would've had me turning the radio off too.

The man does not have a very good memory.
MILLIONAIRE Chris Evans claimed last night he is going to give pounds 46 million of his fortune to charity. (He didn't - of course). Chris added: "Five million is enough for anyone." http://www.thefreelib...o+charity.-a068433750 http://www.kgbanswers...-evans-worth/15918461 |

Evans should be on radio 1, He is not radio 2 material. how could they replace wogan with this egoistic twit? i need calm down to earth record playing people at that time of the morning. Bring back the real quality man, who I am sure everyone, even those who hadn't heard Him before would love, tony blackburn.
Gets my vote, just fun and laughter, no ego trip. perc |
agree with chapattzbru and when his ugly mug appears on the googlebox, the channel changer here I come.
Sorry percy, tony blackburn does my head in,and mr wogan doesnt want to work 5 days a week, getting on, just does is sunday slot, most of radio 1 djs end up in radio 2 as they are seen as getting on a bit
O.K. leave blackburn out, Did wogan have loads of time off??? no, but evans thinks he is to big to be sacked for not turning up. Blackburn never missed a day, just like wogan. I really think that big head evans should be ousted. I really don't see why He is paid so much money for nothing, is there any one who actually thinks he has something special?? To me He sounds like an arrogant bully. you may have gathered from this that I listen to radio 4 in the mornings.
I also like " claire in the community" another radio 4 programme. must mean i am Getting too old. Percy |

I like Ken Bruce and the banter he has with production team
Ken Bruce is the only one worth listening to. C Evans, J Vine and S Wright, are all on ego trips.

You are right vulcan, cannot stand stand steve wright constantly saying how great the show is
