ITV drama

There was an ITV drama back in the early or mid 90s (I think) about a bunch of men looking for love in Thailand. The men join this agency ran by a middle age bloke who is stationed in Thailand. In the beginning of the film each men had a picture of the Thai women they are hoping to meet while they pack ready to leave the UK. When the men landed they were greeted by the bloke who ran the agency.

 

In the last bit of the film the Welsh bloke who work as a rat catcher fancied the house maid of the agency and took her back to Wales. The rest also had a happy ending. Can anyone name the ITV drama?

Are you sure it wasn't a documentary?

I remember watching a documentary very similar to your description but I can't remember it's title. Sorry!

Cant remember the title, but it was a one off drama, and as I recall ''Charlie Drake'' played one of the men.

rcrayner- Thanks for your answer. I did a search on Charlie Drake in imb.com it came up with him being in the 'Screen One:Fillipina Dreamgirls'. Yes it is the film I'm looking for. Thanks again.
