House makeovers

Do you know what sort of production goes into the house makeover programm ,I would imagine the days where the need for big vehicles,are gone ,I suppose the presenters need a place to do hair make up .

If you could give me an insight I would be most gratefull .

A friend of mine had her kitchen used by a location company for an advert. They used her sitting room for make up, were very careful - obviously anything breakable was put away first - and everything went well. They brought sandwiches and tea bags, and left their cars outside - they all arrived separately. They were very polite and we watched the ad being made, very interesting. Paid well too ! I would think the house makeovers would use lots more people and make lots more mess. Probably worth it though.
