Sean the Leprechaun (kids tv) remember him?

When was this around? Was it in colour or black and white? I'm trying to find it for my Dad, he tells me it used to play out with a "great piece of music". I think they were puppets. Unfortunately, I can't find any reference to it anywhere.

I think this was a character made up by Rolf Harris -and he was called Seamus O Shawn
