This was on last night - I love it, it's just the best feelgood movie, but SO sad!! Anyone else watch it? Meryl Streep and Clint Eastwood are just perfect in their roles. I want 4 days like that!!!

Agree pips, a beautiful film.

I really thought my heart was going to break for her when she was in the truck with her husband and Clint was in the other driving away. There i was dsperately trying not to cry with Mr Boo looking at me with a "ya bloody soft sod" look on his face.

I watched that film years ago, because my mrs wanted to see it so she made me watch it with her. Never again It's a proper chick flick, And I havn't forgiven her yet for tricking me into watching it. lol

It's one of my all-time favorites. Even tho I know what's coming...I blub like a baby. Every time,I wish the ending could be a happy one..
I think women enjoy movies like that because we can put ourselves in the heart and mind of the character,...men can't.
Pasta' reported for that sexist statement, We don't watch chick flicks because we just know they will be crap.

BOO - me too! When he is stood in the rain I just want her to get out of the truck.
I think it is a brilliant film - beautifully acted, shot, directed. Simple story which would be spoilt in the wrong hands. Meryl Streep and Clint Eastwood are perfect.
I love the film as well, I have the DVD, but every time it's on, I find myself watching it again (and I cry every time!). But did you know that it's a true story?
Question Author
