I seem to remember that Minty and Heather got married .Am I right as never heard no mention of divorce in the series?

Hi wendilla, Heather and Minty hadn't consummated the marriage after a month so they divorced on those grounds, around May last year.

Probably because like every other EE storyline, they ahve dragged it out for so long we have all lost the will to live!!
