Sexton Blake?

Does anyone remember Sexton Blake? Kids TV series in the 60s I think. I'd love to know who played Sexton, and what the premiss of the series was, its so long ago I can't remember!

Sexton Blake was a debonair detective, a bit like Sherlock Holmes but without the drug addiction. I enjoyed the TV series a lot. It was part of a short vogue for kids TV literary thrillers in the late 60s/early 70s such as "Judge Dee" and "Smith".
