Does anyone know the name of this actor. I remember him as being in WW2 films, usually as an RAF pilot, hes had blonde hair and tache and was a 'jolly good english' type of chap.
Sorry to be so vague but it is really bugging me.

No, its neither of those two. I dont recall him as being a lead but he was generally one of the lesser main actors. Think he was in one movie were he was in a POW camp and he had to shave off his tache as they were putting on a concert party and he was playing a woman.

Yes Vauny, that was the one, actually thats how I found his name -through the film. Imagine not remembering Leslie Philips, a legend in his own lifetime surely!
