old cartoon showed on sky

it has been on my mind for ages and i cant remember the name of this one tv show. it was showed on sky around the year 2000 i think on kids. i cant remember the names of the charactors but i do remember that one of the bad guys was something or other the fith(V)(i think but could be wrong) . it was about these guys who used robots to fight each other like in megas xlr. the main guys robot had a surf bored as well. (ill add anything else i can remember later)

no it wasnt that. i dont even think there were girls on the team. the teams were of about 5 people. fighting and racing each other.
