i had noticed that she has got a broad yorkshire? accent!!

but you have to admit she is funny!!
I think you might find that it is a broad Lancashire accent as Corrie is set Greater Lancashire formerly part of Lancashire. Not a mistake you want to make up here considering the long-standing Yorkshire/Lancashire rivalry.
Sorry, that should read Greater Manchester formerly part of Lanchashire.
She sounds like she is from Oldham rather than Manchester, I reckon!
She's from Bury.

Well I am from the South and I need Teletext when she speaks !! The others on Corrie don't speak with such strong accents and are understandable. Also can Clare Peacock please not tuck her hair into that Hat? She looks like Nora Batty.
Poor you smurfchops - Some of us up north have to have subtitles on to watch Eastenders, so I guess it's a fair deal ;)
I thought Clair had turned into Martha Longhurst with that hat.
