safe plant list for cats!

I keep finding lists of BAD plants for cats...how about a list of GOOD plants for cats. I want to build a cat run out back and would like to have some vine like plants for shade and privacy...are there any that would not hurt or kill my two pains in the you know wheres. I have to keep them inside..but my home is just toooo small. They just sit at the window staring wistfully outside..and that makes me feel guilty...but every last one of my past pets met with fatal ends out there. It was not my idea to get these two..their wild mother chose to leave them with me, and the local SPCA's are just to full now..and besides what kind of life would it be for them to be locked in cages for months or even years?
