Is nothing sacred,now we have a gay cowboy film,i bet john wayne is turning in his grave.i dont think it works.

Ive read the reviews. I dont think Big John and the 7th. cavarly would approve. Definitely not a a John Ford script.

Let's be quite clear... the characters in the movie are not, repeat not, cowboys... they're sheepherder's. Here in the western U.S., the vast differences are well recognized... Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Andy Warhol made a gay cowboy film in the 1960's.


But as casaepana says, it is not the sort of cowboy film Wayne would have stared in anyway.
