Do you think her Doc boyfriend killed her husband?

Dont know how it should have ended, but I thought it was a little disappointing.

I wonder if they've left it like that cos they are planning another series.

Hope so, really enjoyed it dispite the massive plot holes.
It was a real anti-climax! Am convinced the doc killed the ex. And then she gets promoted!
No I don't think he did. I didn't think she would be allowed to get away with it though. Can't see how Jodie Whittaker would fit another series in along with Dr Who
I thought he'd killed him - then I wasn't so sure. I didn't like the ending either.
Yes I agree, I think it was the 'wrong' ending.
It was as though they had to suddenly wrap up all the loose ends. What happened to her neighbour who was admitted with the heat problem and they had to shock her back to life??
THANKS!......I have bloody recorded it.
I also thought the end was wrong. She shouldn't have got away with it. I don't think her boyfriend is a murderer though. Too many holes in it I think.
I liked the ending, too often writers go for the morally right ending although I doubt she could have maintained the pretence indefinitely. As for someone complaining they have recorded it, in those circumstances I would not have clicked on this topic!

Didn't you realise when you saw the Q, that people were going to discus the end? :-)

trt.......never gave it a thought LOL.
My fault.
After Aly/Cath's husband was killed (good surprise twist), she would have been sought out, and have had to go to his funeral. Would not friends and relations then ask her where she was living and working, how her little girl is now, why haven't we seen you? Just one of many plot holes in an otherwise enjoyable and well-directed piece. Good to see realistic panicky, gory scenes in resusc, though, rather than the anodyne Holby City/Casualty stuff.
GG I agree. Great drama but with quite a few holes in th plot.
I think Jodie Whittaker ought to work on her facial expressions. She only has one!!!!
I liked the ending as it wasn't what I was expecting.
Excellent series. Just goes to show what you can get away with if you move to a foreign country ( Scotland, land of the heather & the brave.) & wee Jimmy Crankie.
