I think that maybe you need to state the comedian and not the rock n roll singer as many are getting confused about the two jerry lewis's

One is Jerry Lewis and one Jerry Lee Lewis??
You got it wrong on the first thread even when it referred to Jerry lewis the comedian, AngelofHarlem
Jerry Lewis, Jennykenny.
Many are getting confused are they?
Jerry Lee Lewis.
I liked Jerry Lewis - he seemed to be a bit overshadowed by Dean Martin in the early days, but came into his own once they split up.
RIP Jerry, thanks for the laughter.
I didn't realise he was still alive...:-(
RIP Jerry.
I used to watch him on Saturday mornings and howl with laughter. I think it's why I don't like Jim Carey.....a pale imitation. RIP Jerry.
he was an adept comedian but even when I was young, that silly voice always used to grate on me - something infantile about him. He made a better nutty professor than Eddie Murphy, though.
I remember me and my sister chuckling our heads off watching him and Dean Marti in their funny films! Rip Jerry.

Pastafreak, Yes, same here, I thought he had died years ago.
I remember Gary Trudeau sending him up years ago in Doonesbury, as although he spent time raising money for charity, he was always front and centre - me, me, and me.
I remember it the other way around to maggiebee, and thought Lewis overshadowed Martin when they were a double act. After they split I was surprised when Martin became the more successful of the two.
RIP Jerry
RIP, but comedian ? he never raised a smile in me let alone a laugh, just cringe.
reading the reviews, I'm impressed to find that he taught Steven Spielberg and George Lucas how to direct. Literally: he gave university classes they attended.
Not my cup of tea at all, just very childish.
I saw him give an interview a year or so ago and he was a right old grumpy man, every bit a male diva.
As we know from the endless debates about humour on here - comedy is very selective, and one man's laughter is another man's groans.

I found Jerry Lewis about as funny as dysentery on a coach holiday, and Dean Martin to be arrogant and creepy (I never forgave his rudeness to the young Rolling Stones on his show) - but I am sorry for his many fans that JL has died, RIP.
