Just seen a few minutes of it.

Dosent seem to be like a real prison, not many guards about when theres trouble.

It was a USA privately run jail. It could not happen in the UK.

The Michael L. Becher Adult Correctional Complex (Clark County Jail) is run by the Clark County Sheriff's Office which directly employs the Corrections Officers for the facility; ergo it is not privately run.

The Sheriff fired five COs (another four resigned) following the first 60-day infiltration programme.

They are all actors. Quite a few live near me. They take their scripted roles very seriously. It is fact based though - well kinda! TV ain't real y'know! Fun though.
