I hate the storyline where Steven says he has cancer as he is only doing this to punish Lauren. I don't think it is clever or storyline worthy. I have a real reason for disliking this. What do others think?

Stupid story line - and not the first time they have used it either
No, it's not. Angie told Den she had cancer when she thought he was leaving her.
And Ian told Mel that Lucy had cancer to stop her leaving him. Maybe the scriptwriters have not been watching for as long as we have.
It is awful storyline when there are people really suffering with a brain tumour, its the real sufferers I feel sorry for
Oh..so soaps shouldn't cover what happens in real life?

People lie when desperate!
The real sufferers are not going to suffer if TV didn't show such storylines? Switch off if you are that upset.
