Broadchurch tonight. Do you think we will get any nearer to finding out who the rapist was? So far it just seems to have been an endless amount of suspects and not much else. What does everyone else think?

I think 'they' will string it out right until the last moment and it will be the last person we suspect. Probably the owner of the big house??

Thanks for your answers. No, Ive never seen Line of Duty. Ithought like you, right from the start that it will be someone we least suspect. At the moment my money is on the vicar!

Thats an interesting thought hc 4361. I hadnt thought of that possibility. I havent watched tonights episode yet, but last week I felt there were just too many suspects thrown into the mix, that might be just me though.

I don't know, Smow - to put her ex-husband in the frame, or to get his sympathy. To get the chap she had the Saturday morning fling with to leave his wife for her. To get attention. To cause trouble.

There's evidence to connect them all.... Someone has thought of this set up very well.. Maybe the victim (sorry her name escapes me..)found out from someone what this rapist's traits are and faked it. Why?.. For attention? Her so called friend who's husband she slept with, was nasty. She said, who on earth would someone choose you! So maybe that's the point, she wants people to see that men find her attractive too...

I do think there's going to be a complete twist. Lots of loose ends still. The convicted rapist having connections with both current victims workplace and new victim who came forwards workplace, plus he lied about the fishing. DI Hardys daughter - is more going on there? The owner of the stately home finding that sock which happens to be the local football teams......am more confused than ever!
