There used to be an advert for Barratts House builders where they flew over the houses in a helicopter and a man, in a suit, jumped out when it landed
Wasn't it mentioned in Only Fools and Horses?
There was an advert where a well-known actor - blond, blue-eyed, square-jawed type flew over a Barratt development. Early 70's? Probably refers to that. Wish I could remember his name.
he was in a few soaps
plane makers and 'compact' spring to mind

looks like or looked like the fair haired builder in Emmerdale. you know like Eric Chitteris looks like one of the kids in Please Sir ! with sidney poitier ( because er he was )

Patrick Allen

Jourdain, I think he had black hair.
You're not thinking of the Milk Tray man Tilly?
Thank you! Patrick Allen and you are quite right, Tilly - not a blond.
Maybe I was thinking of the Milk Tray man, Mamya.
