Sorry,should be 29th January.
Thank goodness they didn't invite his overrated wife.

Did the Spice girls record eight records?
To be fair to the BBC, they did try to get Bobby Moore but there was some problem.
I doubt he'll be less interesting than Elizabeth Schwarzkopf, the opera singer, who chose eight of her own recordings.
I imagine a lot of people are interested in him.
Imagination is a great thing.
So many people lose it as they age.
^ ?
I will be listening - I would anyway
Whats not to like - former England Captain, One of Fergies fledglings, globally recognized superstar and a man with near perfect bone structure!
They've had a lot worse on
Now, I might be wrong, but could there be a hint of the green eyed monster here

PS - I think Posh has brown eyes

Sorry to correct you Vulcan 42 but please read this. One of the most remarked broadcasts was Elisabeth Schwarzkopf's 1958 selection of seven of her own recordings. This record was subsequently beaten by British pianist Dame Moura Lympany on her second appearance on the programme on 28 July 1979 when all eight of her selections were of her own recordings. No jealousy from me Ric Ror just do do not understand the interest in a multi tattooed overrated footballer.
Will David Beckham choose a Spice Girls track?

Yes ... because it would be odd if he didn't want to hear his own wife.

No ... because Victoria B has always wanted to bury her "girl band" past, and pretend that she is a High Society girl.

The suspense is killing me.

Okay, not really. I don't care either way.
grumpy01, thank you for the correction, as soon as I'd hit submit I remembered it was seven not eight. I hadn't heard the Dame Moura Lympany story.
Beckham is an fairly benign chap. The kids like him, although I will leave it others to comment on his football record.

I think we should cut him some slack here. He can't be any more vacuous that some guests on this program have been for the last few years. It might encourage young people to change radio stations away from wall-to-wall mindless pop.
Mikey, bit like 'Celebrity Mastermind'. I'm damned if I can name 99% of them!

What ia a celebrity these days?
Vortex.....Andy Warhol had it right...we will all be famous one day !
Mikey4444 - LOL

I would have chosen Jimmy Krankie myself.....but hey ho, ho hum and fandabidozi....can't win 'em all :-)
