Anyone else not quite following the Belle story re: the other girl's baby and asking Belle to pass it off as her own? Is Belle imagining she was there or was she real? This storyline is getting dafter by the minute!

Everything in this soap is now getting ridiculous - have they got a new writer?

its in her imagination ,she was in belles past,the time when belle said she (belle) killed her best friend (was an accident) and belle went off the rails,looks like a reoccurrence, so many silly story lines in this soap at mo. and david,gimme strength!

Yes I agree Ivor ..... shame as I used to like Emmerdale so much but it;s all getting so tedious. Don't get me started on Holly ....... amd Aaron and Robert ..... and Chrissie and all up at the hall .......

Ann, they do have a new producer, Kate Oates has moved over to Corrie.

I find it far-fetched that a "doctor" is living in a shack. Totally unbelievable.

They are revisiting old storylines all the time, we have had the Holly story and Belle and her voices etc. They were boring the first time round so what are they thinking? It's the same as how all the soaps run similar stories, I only really watch as it is a habit and usually the first time I have sat down all day with the telly on.

The story lines are rehashed when really it is the scriptwriters who should be rehashed.

So in a few months time how is Belle going to hide the fact she's not pregnant?
Her boyfriend is a Doctor, I think he might notice.

The actor playing Belle's boyfriend is the worst I've seen for many years on TV, and that's saying something! Also, I've noticed in every episode of every soap, someone will overhear something they shouldn't hear, or see something/someone they shouldn't see. Since I noticed this, I'm always shouting " see, yet again"!

Absolutely agree. I've been an Emmerdale fan for years but over the last week or so the storyline has become totally ridiculous. I don't think I'll be watching it for much longer if it goes on like this.

I missed it but didn't Emmerdale win a major award at the Soap Awards? I'm sure they wouldn't now after the pathetic and boring repetitive storylines recently. The David and Tracy wedding proposals on and off story is driving me mad, but the Belle storyline is just laughable. I'm sure she will steal a baby in 7 months time (good forward planning) how will she look pregnant to Mr Gormless Doc - plenty of cushions and a separate bed? haha.
Also far too many episodes a week (same with Corrie) do they think we have nothing to do in the evenings? My garden takes well over an hour to water after the sun has gone down ....
